Students should attend lessons weekly, at a consistent day and time.
Dual instrument lessons - voice and piano on the same time slot – are only available at 45 or 60-minute intervals.
Make-up lessons are not guaranteed but granted upon availability, providing that the teacher receives a week notice. One excused absence and one sick day allowed per semester.
Make-up lessons are not available for group classes
Attendance
Students are required to attend their lessons on time. The teacher cannot guarantee the full lesson time if the student is late. However, in case of teacher’s tardiness, student will be given the full lesson.
For private lessons, 1 sick day and 1 excused absence will be allowed per term:
Summer: June-August
Fall: September-December
Spring: January-June
Excused absences are missed lessons notified at least 1 week prior to the lesson.
For group classes, missed lessons, excused or not, won’t be granted a credit or make-up. However, the teacher will pass on the assignments for the week so the student can be up to date.
If a lesson is excused, a make-up lesson can be scheduled if teacher has openings in her schedule.
If the teacher cancels a lesson, a make-up for the following month will be provided.
Payment
Tuition is the same every month regardless of number of lessons.
Invoices are sent by email 10 days before the due date via email, and payment is expected by the first of every month.
The teacher reserves the right to charge a $30 late fee if payment is not made by the 5th of the month.
Termination of lessons
Students may terminate lessons after 5 months: before January or Before June. Notice must be given by December 1st or May 1st.

Practice
Consistency is important in learning, especially in music study. Regular practice assures rapid improvement of musicianship and skills. Practice should happen 5-7 days a week to ensure student’s growth.
